Virat Kohli, the captain of Team India’s batting line-up, made history on Friday, March 4, when he played his 100th Test match for his country. Kohli was gifted with a unique hat by head coach Rahul Dravid before to the start of the match in honour of him playing his 100th Test match.
Kohli put another feather to his crown with his controlled 45-run innings against Sri Lanka at IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali, becoming just the sixth Indian batsman to reach 8000 runs in Test cricket.
